Summary
Senior Quality Engineer resides in the Quality Team within SSSQ Department. A Technical Specialist in airline quality engineering management and reports to Manager, Quality in supporing the continued airworthiness and regulatory compliance of Scoot operations. He/She is primarily responsible in overseeing the aircraft certification, performing audits and surveilance on service providers and involved in technical investigation.Job Description
Senior Quality engineer's primary and auxiliary responsibilities and deliverables includes:
CMR(certificate of maintenance review) review and authorisation. (P)
In House Certifying Staff Management Review the qualifications and approval of Certifying staff. (P) Monitor and track training of Engineering and Quality staff.
Hazard Registry and Special Operation monitoring
Aircraft Reliability monitoring programme
Aircraft Mandatory reporting and Investigation Conduct quality engineering related investigations.
Aircraft Certification and Manual administration Monitor fleet continuing airworthiness related items such as AD, Concession, RIE, aircraft certificates, manuals etc. (P)
Conduct quality related audits and surveillance (P)
Review the qualifications, training and approval of Certifying staff
Any other tasks and projects assigned by Manager, Quality
Job Requirements:
Diploma in engineering, mechanical, aeronautical or related field and/or possess 2-3 years’ experience (in aviation industry preferably) managing aviation quality preferred.
Preferably attended Quality Management System (QMS) Lead Auditor course or equivalent.
Good understanding of CAAS ANO, ANR, SAR regulatory airworthiness requirements.
Possess good working experience in Quality auditing principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Tableau, or any other analytical and audit management tools.
Able to travel for work.
