Senior DevOps engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Monitoring team at Acronis. As part of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and scaling our monitoring systems to ensure reliability and performance. The successful candidate will help reduce Prometheus resource consumption, improve the stability of our monitoring stack, and contribute to the development of new features as well as bug fixes. You will be working with a variety of modern tools and technologies, including Ansible, BitBucket, Prometheus, Alertmanager, Thanos, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, PagerDuty, Kubernetes/Docker/Helm, Jenkins, and Linux.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Prometheus optimization and stability
• Development and deployment of new features and bug fixes
• Adjusting existing monitoring tools to meet latest security requirements
• Take part of weekly shift rotation during business hours
• Automation and configuration management
• Introduce improvements of our CI/CD processes, create automation tests
• Code and repository management
• Incident response and troubleshooting
• Documentation and knowledge sharing

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)  

• At least 5 years as a DevOps/SRE engineer
• Strong Linux administration (rpm-based) and troubleshooting skills
• Strong experience in automation development and configuration management (Ansible is a preferred tool)
• Good understanding of Site Reliability Engineering approaches and practices
• Knowledge about principles of CI/CD
• Experience with Prometheus stack
• Experience in Kubernetes/Docker/Helm
• Experience with Jenkins
• Good communication skills to be able to work as a part of global team
