A Snapshot

As Senior Design Manager based in our HQ in Singapore, you will report to the Associate Director, Design and work closely with various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region, making your mark in a number of ways:

  • Lead large-scale data centre design projects from concept through detailed design phases and support AirTrunk stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency in design to support rapid expansion and sustainability goals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver world-class hyperscale solutions.

Your Day to Day

  • Develop and manage concept, schematic, and detailed design phases for hyperscale data centres.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure design integrity and compliance.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the design team.
  • Ensure projects meet AirTrunk and Customer minimum requirements, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of your area of specialization, with principles and practices in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
  • 8+years of experience in engineering and design, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or data centres.
  • Strong expertise in data center systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, cooling towers, CDUs, fire suppression, structured cabling.
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead complex design projects and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills – a true team player.
