Get to Know the Team

Our Data Science team develops creative and scalable machine learning algorithms in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision, which are critical to Grab's business.

Get to Know the Role

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will report into the Senior Data Science Manager and be based onsite in Singapore. You will dive deep into big datasets, develop efficient algorithms, and deploy solutions. Your work will directly impact our business operations and drive innovation.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will prepare large datasets for model building and training.
• You will develop efficient and scalable deep learning algorithms.
• You will evaluate algorithm performance on text and image datasets.
• You will deploy machine learning solutions to production platforms.
• You will stay updated with the latest research in Large Language Models (LLM), Generalised AI (GenAI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision (CV) and contribute to the team's innovation and intellectual property creation.

Qualifications

What Skills You Will Need

• We're looking for Master Degree graduate who has spent at least two years of experience in a field like Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Your are proficiency in Python with good programming practices and have experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• You have knowledge in either Large Language Models (LLM), Generalised AI (GenAI), NLP, Computer Vision, or Search domains.
• You can prepare large datasets for model training and evaluation.
• You have skills in designing and implementing scalable machine learning algorithms.
• You have experience deploying machine learning models to production environments.
