As a Senior Data Engineer at Sana Commerce, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining our data warehousing infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient ETL processes and ensure data integrity, security, and performance across all systems. This role presents an exciting opportunity to leverage your data engineering expertise and contribute to the success of our data-driven initiatives.
Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain data warehousing architecture.
- Implement scalable and efficient ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Optimize data pipelines, data models and schemas for performance and reliability.
- Implement data governance and security best practices to ensure data integrity across all data warehouse systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering domain.
- Mentor and Provide technical guidance to the Data engineering team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing data warehousing solutions.
- Proficiency in ETL tools and techniques and data modelling.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, data lakes, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
