We’re looking for a Senior Customer Integration Engineer to join our growing team in Korea. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring seamless software integration and world-class quality for some of the most advanced Software-Defined Vehicle programs in the industry. You’ll collaborate closely with global engineering teams and leading automakers to validate and optimize next-generation automotive software systems, helping deliver the intelligent, connected vehicles of the future. This role requires you to work in a hybrid setup from our local office and reports to the Customer Integration Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities- Software Development & Optimization: Design, develop, and optimize C/C++ software solutions to meet customer requirements and ensure seamless integration into automotive platforms.
- Platform Integration: Adapt and fine-tune software for specific vehicle hardware and software architectures, optimizing for efficiency, memory usage, and execution speed.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, analyze, and resolve software issues during development, integration, and deployment phases.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Utilize static analysis tools (e.g., Coverity, CodeSonar) to detect vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with automotive industry standards such as MISRA C++ and AUTOSAR C++.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal Product Engineering teams and customers to deliver solutions aligned with requirements and technical constraints.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for developed software, including APIs, dependencies, and integration guides.
- On-site Support: Support major test events with partners on site.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development, specifically within the automotive, networking, or embedded systems industries.
- Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming and experience with Linux embedded systems.
- System Knowledge: Solid understanding of Linux kernel features, system programming, and operating system concepts.
- Problem Solving: Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail in complex software environments.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.
Preferred Knowledge and Experience
- Automotive Standards: Experience in automotive design review and audit processes, such as ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, or ASIL standards is a plus.
- Automotive Platforms: Experience with Adaptive AUTOSAR, QNX, or Android Auto, including platform-specific development and integration.
- Build Systems: Proficient with CMake or other large-scale C/C++ build systems.
- Scripting & Tools: Experience with Git, Python, and shell scripting for automation and version control.
- Development Tools: Familiarity with ALM tools such as CodeBeamer or Jama.
- DevOps: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
- Security: Understanding of secure coding principles and best practices.
