Your Role

As a consultant, you will be part of a Capco team working with clients in the banking space. You will be responsible for analysis, design, and consulting support, as well as developing an understanding of our client’s strategic direction, issues, and project goals. You will be the liaison between business and technical users, and work to ensure requirements are accurately gathered and translated.

  • Manage and drive the delivery of complex digital banking implementation projects

  • Manage client and vendor teams in an agile delivery to drive outcomes

  • Manage the program office of the transformation office 

  • Manage vendor team for testing, development and other activities 

  • Support the sales process and proposal development for digital banking projects



Your Skills and Experience

Most importantly, you’ll have a passion for data. You will bring your track-record in driving data change to enable clients to achieve their business outcomes.

To qualify for the role, you will have most of the following:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Core Banking Project Management 
  • Experienced in delivering banking project including front-office transformation, core banking replacements
  • Experienced in delivering successfully in a multi-vendor environment
  • Proven track record of delivering complex digital 
  • Deep understanding of technology solutions in the banking domain
  • Experience structuring and running maturity assessments, eliciting & understanding client strategic aims, pain points, and requirements, and providing actionable recommendations
  • Proven experience running delivery teams, with an ability to create and sustain a positive and inclusive team environment, even when under pressure and in ambiguous circumstances
  • Solid experience in project scoping and management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with solid experience and comfort working autonomously and in team environments
  • Extensive experience in simplifying complex concepts, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Ideally, you will also bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ consulting experience, specifically in core banking area 
  • A background in Financial Services (e.g. banking, insurance, investment management)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry best-practices within core banking and analytics
