Job Summary
 
Are you a master communicator ready to advise APAC’s top leaders on their international PR strategy?

As a core member of the PR Newswire Communications Strategy Team, this role will act as a professional strategic advisory for PR Newswire's APAC clients, driving the achievement of their international communication objectives. It focuses on high-quality strategic press release writing (in both English and Chinese), content strategy, and paid and earned media solutions, with solid knowledge/experience in Public Relations.

We are seeking talented individuals with a proven background in PR, from agency or corporate communications backgrounds, or with solid experience in media or journalism.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary strategic counsel for key accounts, translating client business goals into measurable communications outcomes. 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive, multi-channel communication strategies for clients, with a strong focus on high-quality press release writing, content strategy, and paid and earned solutions.

  • Conduct advanced media landscape and competitive analysis to draft detailed advisory plans, providing proactive, data-backed recommendations for campaign optimization and course-correction.

  • Identify and drive upselling opportunities for P R Newswire’s content and strategy services within new and existing client portfolios, demonstrating a clear ROI for integrated communication plans.

  • Actively deepen client relationships and participate in client content planning meetings and client visits to improve customer experience and engagement. Confidently present and explain content strategies and integrated communication plans to key stakeholders, and support in selling P R Newswire’s services.

  • Expertly integrate P R Newswire’s proprietary channel and MultiVu solutions into press release strategies, ensuring a cohesive and maximised impact across broader digital marketing and media solutions.

  • Stay abreast of international communication trends, especially in APAC, the U.S. and Europe, and provide regular market insights and content recommendations to clients.

  • Contribute to sales enablement and the development of team best practices, and strategic frameworks.


Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2 to 7 years of relevant working experience in a PR agency, corporate communications department, or the media industry with knowledge of the media landscape.

  • High fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese Mandarin, with proven expertise in strategic writing, editing, and crafting compelling narratives for global audience

  • Demonstrated ability to use data analytics and media monitoring tools to measure campaign performance and derive strategic insights.

  • Customer-focused, independent, detailed-oriented, and collaborative to work with cross-functional teams across all APAC markets
