About Skyscanner

Everyone loves travelling, but planning is not without its challenges. That's why we've spent 20 years building tools that turn travel-planning chaos into a breeze. Today, around 160 million travellers count on us every month to skip the whole “47 browser tabs open” phase and find flights, cars, and hotels quickly and easily.

Joining Skyscanner means becoming part of a global brand that's striving to become the planet's go-to travel hack accessible for all.

Our vision? To be the world's number one travel ally. (Ambitious? Yes, but, hey, that's what got us here). Now, we’re on the lookout for a Senior Commercial Manager to help us bring that vision to even more travellers.

About the role

(Hybrid)

We’re after a high-performing deal-maker who can identify, pitch, and close high-impact partnerships that grow revenue and market share across the region. You’ll take full ownership of the commercial cycle — from lead generation and proposal creation to negotiation and contract signing.
This is a senior individual contributor position with direct accountability for hitting and exceeding commercial targets across Skyscanner’s destination and brand partnership verticals.

What you’ll be doing

  • Revenue Growth & Pipeline Ownership: Proactively identify new commercial opportunities across tourism boards, brands, and strategic sectors. Own and deliver a robust sales pipeline that consistently exceeds targets.
  • Deal-Making & Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations with senior decision-makers, turning conversations into long-term, revenue-generating partnerships.
  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Build and scale relationships that drive measurable commercial returns — not just visibility. You’ll think in terms of ROI, deal value, and expansion potential.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal delivery, marketing, and product teams to ensure commercial commitments are executed flawlessly.
  • Market Expansion: Unlock new verticals and categories that amplify Skyscanner’s footprint across APAC.
  • AI & Data-Driven Selling: Use insights and analytics to shape compelling sales propositions and optimise campaign performance

About you

  • Proven success in sales, business development, or commercial partnerships, ideally within travel, media, or tech sectors.
  • Track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets and closing large-scale deals.
  • Skilled negotiator and closer who can build credibility with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of APAC commercial and brand landscapes, with a strong professional network across key markets.
  • Strategic thinker who can connect client goals with scalable, revenue-driven solutions.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, global environment

What Success Looks Like

  • You exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Skyscanner becomes the partner of choice for destinations and brands seeking global traveller reach.
  • You secure innovative, high-value partnerships that extend Skyscanner’s commercial reach beyond travel.
  • You’re recognised internally as a top commercial performer and externally as a trusted business growth leader in APAC.
