This position is accountable for:

 

  • - Claims Service

  • - Claims Quality

  • - Claims Reporting

  • - Expense Management

  • - Understanding and challenging legal advice as required on claims

  • - Provision of claims analysis and trends observed

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

Skills and Experience: 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of attention to detail & excellent analytic skills.
  • Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills and capability to collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • Approachable and friendly attitude.
  • Ability to work autonomously, employ initiative to find solutions, prioritize and exercise discretion.
  • Excellent organizational and administration skills.
  • Technical competence with software packages, including MSWord, Excel  and Power-point.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Law preferred.

  • 3-5 years in Financial Lines claims handling or similar relevant  insurance experience preferred.  

  • Advantage for those with experience in Legal practice.
