PURPOSE

Lead business development efforts across Financial Advisory (FA) and Bancassurance channels to drive sustainable growth, deepen partner engagement, and enhance customer acquisition and retention.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Leverage on data analytics to identify growth opportunities, optimize channel performance, and support strategic decision-making with actionable insights.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to track strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with corporate objectives
  • Drive acquisition of new customers and improve distribution performance (e.g., active seller ratio, case count, case size).
  • Develop and execute partnership strategies with non-traditional partners (e.g., fintechs, digital platforms) to expand distribution reach and create new value propositions
  • Strengthen relationships with core and emerging FA partners to increase wallet share and loyalty.
  • Lead initiatives such as lead generation, client seminars, and O2O (offline-to-online and vice versa) campaigns.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives within the distribution function, including adoption of new technologies and digital tools
  • Provide market insights and feedback to influence product development and ensure alignment with customer needs and company goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure product positioning and campaigns are market-leading.
  • Partner with operations to ensure seamless processes and excellent customer experience.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Expand the distribution network by onboarding new FA partners.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • 8 to 10 years of direct experience managing a FA channel/bank with an insurer
  • Strong network and relationships with FA/RMs in the market

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational transformation
  • Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business plans
  • Good understanding of life products and trends that are key within the FA and bank channels
  • Ability to influence key internal stakeholders to deliver a winning products and services proposition
  • Ability to provide recommendations based on customer needs and market trends
  • Highly independent and motivated
  • Customer centric with strong communication skills
  • Strong understanding of regulatory landscape and ability to anticipate and respond to changes.
