Responsible for delivering sales and margin growth for UGG and TEVA through the execution of an integrated distribution, marketing and merchandising strategy. Drive sustainable growth across all channels Distribution, Partner retail/ ecommerce and regional wholesale accounts. The role includes the development of strategic markets and channel opportunities by partnering with the APAC Sr Director and Global Marketing, Strategy, merchandising and other omni leaders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (DUTIES  & RESPONSIBILITIES)

     Build the sales and integrated go to market plans for the markets and manages the achievement of the overall sales plan and key business goals across the brand and the market; through effectively implementing merchandising and marketing initiatives to drive sales.

     Develop and maintain productive, effective and professional relationships with distributors, global and omni teams

     Accountable for all forward orders and in season business, in line with season targets and delivered via close appreciation of sell through and inventory holding in the markets

     Oversee the execution and preparation of the seasonal product forecasts for all markets and key accounts

     Develop the marketing plans with the Marketing Manager to ensure strategic marketing requirements are executed, including key priorities are focused and executed on time and as per plan.

     In collaboration with PX, ensure that talent is developed within the team creating positive succession planning.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES & FUNCTIONS (ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS)

     Deliver Brand sales plans and gross margins based on annual budget & forecasts.

Maximises Sales and Profitability for the assigned brands.

     Execute distribution strategy across channels including distribution, wholesale, partner retail and partner e-commerce for the assigned brands.

     Drive expansion of partner retail stores and partner e-commerce in UGG/Teva markets by providing inputs and approvals to ensure brand guidelines are strictly followed

     Evaluate distributor business plans at contract renewal stage and propose purchase plans with reference to sales performance and market potential, conduct RFPs for potential new distributors in the assigned territories for the assigned brands.

     Assess overall market/channel/brand performance and take corrective actions as required

o       track sales performance at channel and category level, market feedback for key market stories and seasonal new launches

o       identify best sellers and slow movers and develop action plans

o       monitor inventory status and develop clearance strategies to achieve optimal on hand inventory

o     consolidate key market highlights for review with Senior Director and global teams.

o     review in-season and end of season sale promotion plans & calendars with partners based on seasonal sales performance and sell through data

o     Proposes and executes plans to ensure sales performance is in line with sales goals

Marketing

     Represent UGG/Teva markets in GTM meetings and sales meetings and provide inputs on market trends and product inputs to global marketing and product teams in order to support decision making.

     Accountable for Brand Marketing budget, reporting on KPIs and overseeing execution of the plans

     Review and approve quarterly competitive market reviews to stay up to date on market trends

     Review and approve seasonal marketing plans, social media content calendars, eDM

and all marketing creatives to ensure alignment with global brand strategy

     Track and audit distributor marketing expenses in detail to ensure the investment is allocated to the right categories and the total spends are meeting contract minimums

     Track results and sales impact of seasonal marketing initiatives

Merchandising

     Formulate Investment Strategy and Implement APAC assortment seasonal Merchandising Strategy and SMU strategy in collaboration with global and regional merchandising leads

     Work closely with partner merchants to plan and execute a consistent seasonal assortment mix and seasonal investment plan/ Seasonal forecasts for APAC Distribution markets.

     Identify product, SMU and collaboration opportunities to drive brand momentum and sales growth

Operations

     Work closely with the Operations Manager to track orders and shipments to meet

Quarterly and Annual Sales goals

     To review order book position with operations in season, liaising to take corrective management where appropriate

     To follow up on payments and work closely with the Finance teams to keep track of timely payments

Business

Development

Korea Brand and Sales Development

     Partner with the Sr. Director APAC and Korea Marketing Manager to develop an integrated brand strategy (product, distribution and marketing) to accelerate growth

     Align with global strategy teams on plans and provide quarterly progress updates to

Omni and Brand leadership teams

     Directly lead the development of new franchises Sneakers, Slippers and Apparel categories and provide direction on assortment mix and manage marketing investments and brand marketing initiatives

     Develop the distribution of UGG in line with premium positioning and direct development of pinnacle brands and expand the UGG partner retail network

Regional Wholesale Development (Footlocker)

     Build partnerships with strategic and pinnacle accounts in key markets on product capsules and marketing initiatives including Foot Locker

     Manage and partner with regionally centralized global retail accounts and drive sales growth

Launch Partner Ecommerce

     Partner with Ecommerce Lead to roll out partner ecommerce (ugg.com and teva

.com)  sites in key markets

     Develop and direct the assortment strategy and go to market plan for DTC in line with marketplace strategy

Qualifications and Experience (Years of experience & background required)

PERSON SPECIFICATION (ADDITIONAL POSITION QUALIFICATIONS)

     Undergraduate degree a must, Graduate degree preferred

     Proven substantial merchandising/ sales planning and brand experience

     Footwear experience

     Previous experience with multi-functional, international organizations

     Fashion culture understanding and high-level understanding.
