The Senior System Integration Engineer will work, as part of our cross-functional and world-class engineering team, leading the integration and validation efforts for Venti’s autonomy kit and autonomous vehicles.
Role responsibilities

Lead the creation of production schedules and resource allocation plans. Production includes electrical fabrication, mechanical fabrication and configuration of devices. Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce costs and optimize workflow.

Lead the conduct of bench testing of hardware sub-assemblies and system level integration tests to validate the installation and configuration of Venti’s autonomy kit.

Lead FMEA and other root cause analysis efforts for process and product improvements. Establish on-field monitoring programmes for new hardware features and root cause analysis for any hardware issues related to environmental, process or production causes.

Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables. Evaluate and manage vendor performance for long term partnerships.

Establish and maintain QA standards across production lines. Lead PFMEA reviews and corrective action plans for defect prevention.

Oversee the management of workshops and ensure adherence to principles such as 5S and Six Sigma. Ensure all production processes comply with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Work closely with R&D, design and engineering teams on new product introduction or and scaling production for new designs. Provide feedback on reliability, manufacturability and cost-effectiveness during design phases.

Manage production budgets and ensure cost effective operations without compromising quality.
Required Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Robotics, Production Management or a related field.

4 to 6 years experience in a Robotics / Production / Manufacturing environment.

Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, techniques, and materials.

Strong understanding of mechanical & electrical engineering principles.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems.

Familiarity with embedded systems, PLC and Linux is a plus.
