Based in our Singapore office, the Sales Planning and Operations (SP&O) Senior Analyst/Analyst is a detailed and process-oriented professional who will be able to support the development, implementation, execution, and ongoing fine-tuning of varied aspects of the sales process. This includes product planning, contracting, data entry, reporting, and more across Southeast Asia (SEA).

Reporting to the TV Distribution Sales team in the SEA region and working closely with the Regional SP&O team, this role will assist in the execution and achievement of sales strategies and objectives for the SEA market.

Key areas of responsibilities will include:

  • Product Catalogue Management (i.e. Product Windowing Management) – Become an expert in our product catalogue consisting of Hollywood and local Asian movies and TV series to maximize its exploitation in commercial deals and offerings across SEA territories.

  • Sales Operations Support – Take ownership of the Sales Operations functions in SEA including preparation and review of product availability lists; review contracts, capture and process amendments, sales data entry into internal systems, etc.

  • Budgeting and Data Management – In partnership with Sales and Finance teams in preparing budgets and forecasts with rationales.

  • Sales Negotiation Support - Support Sales team to develop rationales for the valuation of our Content across SEA Regional and local platforms.  This would include analyzing, evaluating and validating sales data, developing sales analysis to support deals negotiation.

  • Other ad hoc sales support activities as required.

  • Assist the implementation and execution of processes and guidelines for all aspects of the sales planning and operations process for SEA.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or Technology, Business Management and/or Administration, Engineering, Legal or Supply Chain related disciplines.

  • Typically 1 to 5 years’ experience in any of the following fields – financial services, accounting, auditing, information systems, engineering, business consulting, supply chain, sales operations, or business administration or equivalent.  

  • Knowledge of information systems management, business or sales management and/or administration, product cycle management, TV content rights management, or budgeting principles a plus.

  • Detailed and analytical oriented mindset with experience in managing, analyzing and interpreting large data samples in a structured, logical and accurate manner.

  • Strong and passionate drive to achieve results and create an environment focused on ongoing improvements in analysis, processes, system efficiency and accuracy.

  • Team player and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

  • Excellent computer skills: Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, etc), Word and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

  • Experience, exposure or understanding of media/US entertainment industry with a particular focus on programming sales, distribution, and the social media landscape in SEA a plus.

  • Please note that this role is based in Singapore. In order to enable us to meet statutory and regulatory obligations of the Singapore immigration system you must have the appropriate immigration permission needed to work and reside in Singapore for the duration of the employment.
