Job Description

Checkout.com are actively looking for a part or newly qualified enthusiastic and talented Senior Analyst to join our Financial Control team in Singapore. This hands-on role reporting to the Director of Financial Control (APAC) is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding global company. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with excellent communication skills and can work to strict deadlines. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ownership of a number of Legal entities management/financial reporting to ensure ledgers are complete and accurate and that reporting deadlines are adhered to.

  • Month end close, balance sheet reconciliation, preparation of revenue analysis

  • Assistance in the preparation and review of VAT returns

  • Assisting in the global and local statutory audit process

  • Support AP function in the posting of and reconciliation of transactions along with payments

  • Ad-hoc project & analysis work

About You:

  • Bachelor Degree in Economics, Accounting or equivalent with a strong academic record

  • Newly Qualified (CA/CPA/ACCA) with experience in FinTech or Financial Services or from practice

  • Highly numerate, with strong analytical skills and ability to work through problems logically

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Highly motivated and able to work towards tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fast paced work environment
