Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Regional Accounting Operations

  • Manage daily accounting activities for APAC entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and comply with group accounting policies and local regulations.
  • Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlement processes across the region.

2. Month-End Closing & Reporting

  • Lead and coordinate month-end closing activities for APAC entities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
  • Support management reporting, and regional financial reviews.

3. Financial & Data Analysis

  • Conduct country-level profitability, cost, and variance analyses.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking across APAC.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
  • Serve as a business partner to the Sales & Marketing function, providing comprehensive support for APAC regional expense input–output analysis and dynamic performance evaluation.

4. Tax & Audit Compliance

  • Coordinate with tax agents and auditors across APAC to ensure compliance with local statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit GST/VAT, corporate tax filings, and other statutory submissions.
  • Support annual audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.

6. Systems & Process Improvement

  • Support implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or multinational environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of practical SAP experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) preferred.
  • Experience in managing accounting operations for multiple APAC countries is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle cross-border responsibilities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
