Job Description

This role is based in our Bugis Junction Towers office. 

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Senior Account Manager to join our commercial team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential sponsors, exhibitors, and strategic partners across global markets. The role requires a mix of desk-based market research, outbound outreach, and in-person attendance at relevant industry events to build relationships and deepen your market understanding.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in high-impact B2B sales and international business development within the global events industry.

Based out of Informa Festival’s Singapore Office, the role will require work across the full breadth of Asian tech, telecoms, and media.

We’re seeking an intelligent and entrepreneurial individual with exceptional communication and business development skills to contribute to the growth and development of the event.

Your key remit and responsibilities will be to sell exhibit space, sponsorships, and digital/media products to both new and existing clients.

The position is best suited to a high agency, strategic and confident individual who is happy to work individually and as part of a team in a creative, strategic way; someone who can implement innovative ideas successfully.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consistently achieve and surpass quarterly and annual revenue targets and performance indicators
  • Spearhead new business expansion across diverse revenue streams, with focus on strategic markets and sectors targeted for brand development
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and develop revenue opportunities based on market demands
  • Secure and conduct meetings with senior-level prospects, deliver executive presentations, create proposals, draft contracts, and actively network within the industry
  • Successfully negotiate and finalize sales contracts in a timely manner
  • Coordinate effectively with internal departments including marketing, creative, and finance teams
  • Serve as a relationship builder who actively prevents organizational silos and ensures inclusive collaboration

Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent required
    • Proven track record of 5 years+ in sales or customer-facing roles, demonstrating consistent success and professional growth
    • Affinity for or background in technology and event industries
    • Exceptional customer service mindset with dedication to exceeding client expectations
    • Excellent communication abilities across written materials and presentations
    • Proficient research capabilities to identify opportunities and market trends
    • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office applications
    • Prior B2B event sales experience (especially technology market and exhibit space).
