Job Description

You will be a Senior Account Manager within a fast growing regional commercial team, responsible for driving growth with our existing partners. You’ll identify and execute growth opportunities across your partner portfolio, manage churn risk and build relationships with key stakeholders. 

The role will be based in our Singapore office, but you will also work closely with the Global Account Management and Customer Success teams based around the world. You will collaborate with other functions across Wise Platform and the wider Wise organisation, including our product management, engineering, compliance & legal, delivery, as well as business development teams.

Your mission: 

  • Work closely with Wise Platform teams and partners to identify, progress and close a strong pipeline of opportunities within your existing accounts, driving revenue and volume growth for Wise.

  • Develop and actively manage comprehensive account plans for key accounts,  articulating strategies for growth and managing risk of attrition.

  • Establish strong relationships with your partners by understanding their strategic objectives, define their priorities and be clear on their decision making process. Lead QBRs and become the subject matter expert for your partners.

  • Take a data led approach on influencing decision making with internal / external stakeholders. 

  • Provide consistent and concise internal updates on partner performance and engagements, highlighting blockers and leveraging support across various functions.

  • Bring the voice of the partner to influence Wise Platform product roadmaps as well as build out strong partner testimonials. 

  • Work on projects and initiatives (regional or global) to improve our account management function. 

Qualifications

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in an Account Management role, managing payment solutions for large enterprises

  • You have a track record of successfully driving revenue growth from accounts in your portfolio

  • You have experience with domestic and international payment schemes, ideally also in correspondent banking (SWIFT). 

  • You’re familiar with the banks and financial services landscape, and understand how cross-border payments works for them today

  • You’ve previously worked and are comfortable in a faced paced and technical environment

  • You’re experienced in building and maintaining relationships with a range of stakeholders of all sizes – from CEOs, to head of payments, network managers and product managers

  • You’re hands on, not afraid to roll-up your sleeves, lead partner calls, listen to their feedback and work with the wider team on devising a plan to achieve meeting partners’ expectations, whilst achieving our objectives

  • You’re into the details - you get close to deals and understand where we can invest to have the biggest impact

  • You have technical expertise - helping a partner solution the best way to use Wise Platform as you are discussing commercial and legal terms

  • You are passionate about high growth businesses and have a desire to contribute significantly to our overarching Wise Platform mission

  • You are proficient in either/both Japanese and Korean or have covered these markets extensively.
