We are seeking a high-performing, commercially driven Hybrid Account Executive / Account Manager who can balance new business development with strategic account management - identifying new opportunities while expanding and strengthening existing client relationships.
Based in Singapore, you will be our first Associate on the ground responsible for driving revenue growth across key APAC markets and working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver value-led solutions to clients in financial services, fintech, and related sectors. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of successful experience in enterprise software, data, or related technology sales within financial services, fintech, and the compliance sector, with a significant network of relevant contacts.

In this role you will:
- Create and execute the Sales strategy for the APAC region, collaborating with Sales, Marketing and Product leadership
- Manage a number of large existing APAC accounts to grow revenue and align on regional requirements
- Proactively build and own a qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, strategic networking, and referral cultivation, converting leads from all sources (marketing, self-sourced, events and partner-referred) into closed revenue against defined quarterly targets.
- Consistently execute sales processes to maintain a balanced sales pipeline and funnel.
- Maintain consistent competency of Innovative product offerings, the industry, and your skills
- Leverage and continuously grow your knowledge of industry, government and regulatory trends, the competition, and our products and relevant technological developments to build a strategy for increasing market share and penetration of Innovative’s solutions
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with enterprise prospects and utilize a consultative, solutions-oriented approach to create a better understanding of their challenges, needs, and requirements – leading to superior service and positive outcomes for the prospect and Innovative
- Proactively engage with and seek the assistance of managers, decision makers, top leadership, and other levels of the organization for assistance throughout all stages of the sales process to ensure winning the sale and achieving the highest levels of client satisfaction.
- Keep management apprised of opportunities, challenges, industry and competitor changes, and overall account status throughout all stages.
- Provide feedback to marketing and product management teams to assist in the development of effective and up-to-date sales presentations, materials, and needs
- Work cooperatively with various internal teams, including support, delivery, product and development
- Share knowledge and best practices across the sales team; serve as a mentor to others
- Regularly utilise sales tools (salesforce.com) to track and manage the sales cycle
- Maintain integrity in dealing with internal teams, clients, and partners
- 10+ years’ B2B software, data, SaaS, and compliance (RegTech)
- Prior experience/knowledge of data /data quality /data management, regulatory risk and compliance, AML, KYC, sanctions screening, PEP screening, etc.
- Deep understanding of either the payments ecosystem (including payment rails, digital wallets, and compliance/regulatory frameworks such as AML, KYC, and PCI-DSS) and/or the insurance sector (including underwriting, policy administration, claims, and relevant regulatory frameworks), with the ability to speak credibly to both technical and commercial stakeholders across either vertical
- Proven experience operating across APAC markets, with a strong grasp of regional business culture, stakeholder dynamics, and the nuances of navigating enterprise sales cycles across diverse geographies
- Consistent use of value/solutions selling or similar sales techniques
- Knowledge and use of Salesforce.com or similar sales CRM
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for sales success
- Strong negotiator with proven ability to close business
- Highly motivated self-starter who is self-motivated with a strong commitment to follow through
- Demonstrated strength in problem / needs assessment
- Proven record of achieving or exceeding goals
- Proven team player with strong advocacy and collaborator mentality
- Ability and willingness to travel across the APAC region
- ACAMS, ACSS, or ICA certifications
- Working knowledge of data analytics, data quality, data integration, Business Intelligence (BI), or similar technologies
- Fluent in regional languages, both written and spoken
