Securities Services - Regional Solutions Product Manager, Cash, Liquidity, FX - Executive Director
Job Description
As a Regional Solutions Product Manager, you will lead a team responsible for financial performance, client solutions, and strategy and delivery for the regional Cash and Liquidity business within Securities Services. You will be responsible for managing our client solutions product strategy with active end-to-end engagement in developing and delivering those products. This includes but is not limited to various forms of deposits, pooling, sweeping and investment products. Importantly, they will work closely with global Liquidity Product counterparts, Treasury Services, and Corporate Treasury - key partners in the delivery of this product. They will also form strong partnerships with colleagues in second line of defence functions to ensure the business continues to operate in accordance with the businesses risk and control framework.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales and Relationship Management to drive Liquidity opportunities:
- Work with clients to determine liquidity & cash management challenges and create effective solutions utilising global product capabilities
- Manage deal flow/pipeline keeping LOB partners abreast of performance vs plan, initiatives, portfolio growth etc
- Work across client facing teams to understand client behaviour, in support of client pricing proposals
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes and buying behaviour patterns
- Develop and lead ongoing internal training and communication with key stakeholders
- Understand market developments, competitor changes and client requirements to set the strategy and direction for product development or enhancement.
- Help drive product innovation and influence long-term product direction and future strategy
- Lead commercial engagements for liquidity including RFPs, Client pitches and Pricing
- Monitor client satisfaction and ensure we have a clear understanding and resolution of any product related issues identified
- Participating and presenting in key franchise client discussions regarding current and target state capabilities and J.P. Morgan value proposition.
- Engaging, establishing and strengthening senior-level working relationships with key product and functional partners within Securities Services and across Lines of Business
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Deep understanding of Liquidity and the wider Securities Services business
- Able to work well in a matrixed and complex organization, with clear, results driven focus
- Self driven and able to work effectively independently; results focused
- Previous client engagement experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative senior relationships both internally and with external clients
- Desire to assume accountability for strategic deliverables and ability to act as a team player and agent of change in a dynamic environment
- Expert analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills based upon fact and business/ industry knowledge
- Ability to drive change autonomously and multitask in a fast paced environment
- Strong organization skills, with a keen ability to prioritize and re-prioritize in real-time
- Experience with complex legal and commercial negotiations, including regulatory-driven challenges
- Experience working across multiple business areas and/or functions to deliver results
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience as a product manager or product sales in securities services or experience in cash and treasury management strongly preferred
