Job Description

Revenue Management Strategy

  • Assess and segment demand based on market conditions to optimise capacity utilisation and revenue generation.

  • Maximise revenue by managing inventory and seat availability across all routes and connecting itineraries originating from the assigned point of origin/commencement.

  • Identify opportunities to stimulate incremental traffic and optimise load factors through demand forecasting and capacity adjustments.

  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor performance, and booking patterns to inform revenue management strategies.

  • Collaborate closely with revenue analysts, overseas managers, and market contacts to identify revenue opportunities and implement timely actions to maximise network performance.

  • Monitor and validate the accuracy of demand forecasts and competitive data inputs to support optimal decision-making.

  • Drive best practices in the utilisation of forecasting and competitive strategy tools, ensuring processes are standardised and consistently adhered to across the team.

Revenue Management Systems Maintenance

  • Ensure the effective configuration, maintenance, and optimisation of revenue management systems, specifically focusing on competitive strategy and forecasting modules.

  • Collaborate with system vendors and internal stakeholders to implement enhancements and resolve system-related issues to improve forecasting accuracy and competitive positioning.

  • Regularly review system performance and outputs to ensure alignment with revenue management objectives and market dynamics.

Requirements:

  • Degree with a numerical discipline

  • 6-8 years of experience in a similar role and 3-5 years experience leading a team would be an advantage

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with commercial acumen

  • High level of accuracy and detail

  • Strategic outlook and understanding

  • Excellent communication skills and experience in working with people at all levels.

  • Ability to maintain the overview and see the bigger picture

  • Able to create and maintain strong internal and external networks

  • Able to handle simultaneous projects and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
