Sales Executive, Marine Fuel – Singapore

As a Sales Executive, Marine Fuel, you will play a key role in driving commercial growth by developing new business, strengthening customer relationships, and executing fuel transactions in a fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities- Drive revenue growth by developing new customer accounts and expanding share of wallet with existing clients across the marine sector
- Manage end-to-end fuel transactions, acting as the primary point of contact from pricing through delivery and post-trade support
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships, delivering responsive, solution-oriented service in a competitive market
- Identify and capture new business opportunities through proactive market engagement and targeted sales strategies
- Monitor market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitor activity to inform trading decisions and optimize margins
- Collaborate closely with operations, supply, and credit teams to ensure seamless delivery, mitigate risk, and maintain customer satisfaction
- Oversee customer credit exposure, partnering with credit control to manage risk and support sustainable growth
- Resolve operational issues and claims efficiently, ensuring a high standard of service delivery
- Maintain accurate commercial records, including contracts, pricing, and client interactions
- Actively engage the market, including regular client visits, networking, and industry engagement
- 5+ years of commercial experience in marine fuel, bunkering, trading, or a related energy/commodities sector
- Proven success in sales, business development, or trading, with a track record of delivering revenue growth
- Strong understanding of marine fuel markets, pricing structures, and supply dynamics (highly preferred)
- Highly commercial mindset with strong numerical and analytical capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment requiring quick decision-making
- Resilient, driven, and proactive, with a strong hunter mentality and ownership mindset
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
- Degree in Maritime, Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
