Sales Engineering Intern 

Start Date: 1 June 2025

Are you a recent or soon to be graduate from Computer Science or similar studies? Have you gained fundamental knowledge of programming and want to learn how to put this knowledge in a highly successful global software company developing solutions that impact millions of lives every day?

The 6 months InterSystems intern program was created as a way to provide recent graduates the opportunity to experience the Sales Engineering team, in this case within our Espoo office.

The program will prepare you for successful integration into InterSystems technical sales engineering team through training, personalized mentorship, and frequent collaboration with cross-functional groups, allowing you to immerse yourself in our technologies.

Internship Scope:

  • Begin the program with an accelerated training in InterSystems interoperability and data management platforms
  • Develop software development, data management and interoperability related skills that are applicable in a number of different settings
  • Participate in meaningful projects with major customers in Finnish healthcare market
  • Develop business and project management skills

Qualifications:

  • This role is intended for recent or soon to be graduates from a Bachelor’s, Master’s
  • Interdisciplinary academic work in Computer Science, Physics, Math, Engineering or other STEM subjects preferred
  • Strong written and spoken language skills in English and Finnish.
  • Proven prior coding experience in any language, including: Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON, Python, or similar would be beneficial
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is considered an advantage: databases, AI, analytics, machine learning, public cloud platforms, DevOps, healthcare standards
  • Demonstrated initiative through academic excellence, extracurricular, or work experiences
  • Excellent communication skills and interest to work in customer facing role
  • Initiative to build a technical foundation for a career that will make a difference
