As the Sales Director for Singapore & Malaysia, you will be the face of Digital Turbine in two of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic markets. You are a seasoned ad-tech professional with an unmatched "black book" of contacts across the major Agency Holding Companies and top-tier direct advertisers.
Your mission is to drive the adoption of Digital Turbine’s mobile advertising solutions. You will navigate the complexities of both managed service campaigns and programmatic executions, positioning our unique supply as a must-have alternative to the traditional walled gardens.
About the Sales Director, Singapore & Malaysia role:
Revenue Accountability: Own and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for the assigned SG & MY book of business, across both managed and programmatic channels.
Strategic Agency Management: Secure and scale "Always On" agreements and preferred partnership status with Agency HoldCos at the regional and local levels.
Market Evangelism: Position Digital Turbine as a critical component of a brand's mobile strategy, highlighting our uniquely positioned, premium in-app inventory.
Competitive Strategy: Competitively position Digital Turbine against walled gardens and other similar mobile advertising solution competitors by demonstrating our strong premium reach, transparency, and performance capabilities.
Full-Funnel Solution Selling: Educate clients on how to utilize our supply for both brand awareness (video/display) and performance-driven objectives.
Programmatic Growth: Work closely with programmatic trading desks and DSP partners to ensure Digital Turbine is a prioritized supply source
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the AdOps, Account Management, and Creative Lab teams to ensure campaign excellence and long-term client retention.
Market Intelligence: Act as a thought leader in the SG/MY region, providing feedback to Product and Leadership teams on local market trends and competitor moves.
About YOU as the Sales Director, Singapore & Malaysia:
Experience: 10+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, with at least 5 years specifically within the Mobile Ad-Tech or Programmatic space.
Network: An extensive, high-level network of decision-makers within Singapore and Malaysia Agency Business Units and Brand Marketers.
Mobile DNA: Deep understanding of the mobile landscape, including SDK integrations, attribution (MMPs), brand measurements standards and audience addressability.
Walled Garden Knowledge: Intimate familiarity with their strengths and weaknesses, with the ability to articulate why an advertiser should diversify their spend with Digital Turbine.
Programmatic Fluency: Strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, PMPs, and Header Bidding).
Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter who can work independently to build a territory but also collaborate with a global team.
Communication: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills; the ability to simplify complex ad-tech concepts for C-suite stakeholders & decision makers.
Candidates must have a strong understanding of the local market, with preference given to Singapore Citizens and PRs
