A Sales Development Representative is a great way to kick start your sales career in a supportive, dynamic and fun sales team environment. The goal of the Sales Development Representative is to work closely with both Marketing and Sales to drive demand for Cendyn products across the globe. You’ll be on the phone, sending emails, working with different technology platforms and getting creative with different ways to engage with people all day, every day, so having a passion for sales and regular human interaction is a must. You’ll be working closely with your fellow teammates and other departments allowing you to quickly build relationships and enhance your engagement skills.

Working Hours:
- 3 days per week standard Australia hours
- 2 days per week flexible hours to allow for global team meetings

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with Marketing to manage all inbound sales inquiries
  2. Conduct outbound email and phone activities to build your sales pipeline
  3. Support our global sales organization to drive demand for Cendyn products across the globe
  4. Work towards achieving sales development targets with the goal to drive interest in all Cendyn products
  5. Educate customers and prospects and inform them of opportunities about Cendyn’s products and services
  6. Learn and use sales processes to maintain your sales standards at the highest level
  7. Continue to grow knowledge of our software products and target markets

Ideal Characteristics:

  1. Someone with a real passion for sales
  2. Strong phone skills are vital
  3. Strong communications skills – able to write and converse in English fluently
  4. Ideally 1+ years’ experience in sales or sales development
  5. Someone with a love for regular human interaction
  6. Experience working across different time zones across a global organization is a plus
  7. An enthusiasm for new technology and a strong technical aptitude
  8. Self-motivated

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or relevant business experience
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Adaptable to changing assignments and priorities, frequent deadlines, and prioritizing multiple tasks
  5. Experience with Salesforce.com CRM a plus
  6. Flexible working hours to accommodate other time-zones
