 The Team:

Our Tax Solutions team, within S&P Global Market Intelligence, is a high-growth division focused on delivering essential tax technology, managed services, and professional services to financial institutions and digital asset organizations across the ASEAN region. This entrepreneurial team is central to driving new business and expanding our market presence, empowering clients to manage complex operational tax regulations with innovative solutions.

Responsibilities and Impact:

 Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive new business for S&P Tax Solutions across the ASEAN region.

 Act as a subject matter expert for S&P Tax Solutions, collaborating with internal experts to position tailored client solutions addressing complex operational tax challenges.

 Cultivate and manage a robust sales pipeline, from prospecting and proposal development to structuring agreements and fostering long-term client relationships.

 Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers, Commercial Leads, and other business partners to identify and capitalize on synergies with the broader S&P Global product set.

 Maintain a strong entrepreneurial mindset, staying current with industry trends and news to proactively identify market opportunities and attract new prospects.

 All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

 An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 5+ years of proven experience in enterprise sales or business development within financial technology, regulatory technology, tax technology, or financial services solutions.

 Demonstrated ability to build pipeline, originate opportunities, and successfully close complex, multi-stakeholder deals with longer sales cycles.

 Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and strong commercial discipline.

 In-depth knowledge of financial services and digital assets, with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.

 We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; ACA or similar qualifications are a plus.

 Experience selling into financial institutions (particularly to Tax, Operations, Compliance, or Technology teams), with familiarity in operational tax regulations and an existing network of contacts across ASEAN.

 Actively listens to others to understand their perspectives and responds in an appropriate and empathetic manner, building strong client relationships.

 Communicates effectively, expressing thoughts and ideas clearly and persuasively to senior decision-makers and cross-functional teams.
