What you will do:

Johnson Controls Marine & Offshore Service unit is a global business with employees acting across the globe and backed by a global service team in 10 locations. The Service business is acting on HVAC, Fire Protection & Refrigeration solutions to deliver maintenance and retrofit services to a wide range of applications for Merchant vessels, Cruise, Offshore, Passenger, Navy and Coast Guard.

As Sales Account Manager, you will build relationship with customers, which may be end users, to understand needs and offers solution within a standard framework or range on pricing and margin. Services and supports existing customer accounts in assigned local geographic area, with a limited sales target or quota.

How You Will Do It:

  • You will be responsible for expanding after-sales services (parts and services sales) for HVAC systems & Fire solutions to commercial ship owners, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • This is a Hunter role, where you will leverage from our installed base to identify and engage potential customers, end users, and influencers. Collaborate with Services support team to grow after sales offerings.
  • Sales process ownership. Create quotations, specifications and sales proposals and manage the entire sales cycles from initial contact to closing.
  • Strategic relationship building by gaining a deep understanding of the decision-making processes within customer’s organization to secure successful outcomes.
  • Ability to connect, and nurture strong customers relationship with key influencers and expanding your network within the customer base to drive business growth.
  • Ownership to update and maintain sales pipeline and development activities in the CRM.

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor’s degree /or Diploma preferably in Sales or Engineering.
  • At least 3 years sales experience working within the Marine or Offshore Oil and Gas market
  • Familiar with HVAC or fire detection / suppression systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical solutions into clear, tangible value driven proposals.
  • Must be able to work autonomously, while also thriving a collaborative global team environment.
  • High level of Business Acumen with strong strategic agility.
