Job Summary

As a Revenue Supervisor, you will have responsibility for month end accounting activities for at least 1 JV, will manage up to 4 individuals and will report to the Hyperscale Business Unit Manager. This role requires a ‘can do’ attitude and autonomous mindset with motivation to put their own stamp on the processes and grow with it as the hyperscale strategy grows.

Responsibilities

The Supervisor of Revenue Accounting provides direct supervision to skilled support individual contributors by guiding and assigning tasks to meet schedules and resolve accounting matters. Uses professional expertise while resolving a variety of accounting matters. Performs financial reporting and accounting operations within an accounting function, reconciles accounts to ensure accuracy. 

Accountabilities

  • Lead, manage and supervise a team of 3-4 individuals

  • Work with upstream data owners and cross-functional teams to support accounting activities

  • Partner with business and all stakeholders in making sure all transactions are recorded timely and accurately

  • Prepare month end reconciliations and audit schedules  

  • Perform the timely processing of accruals, revenue transactions, intercompany transactions and other accounting entries

  • Month-end revenue accounting activities for a JV or set of JV’s

  • Prepares and posts journal entries

  • Performs flux analysis as well as ad hoc deliverables

  • Executes SOX controls

  • Prepares PBC (Provided/prepared by Client)

  • Work closely with Billing, Legal, and Treasury departments

  • Continuously drive for improvement in quality and efficiency in new processes and systems to enhance the workflow of the team

  • Work with an entrepreneurial team spirit  

  • Supports the partnership with upstream data owners, internal and external auditors.

Qualifications

  • MSc or BSc in Accounting

  • 6+ years’ experience working in Accounting role

  • Experience with Revenue Accounting is ideal

  • Strong communication skills – both in person and remotely

  • Team player with entrepreneurial mindset

  • Experience in Oracle, Hyperion, Excel-preferred
