The Research and Content Strategy Lead will oversee research functions in crypto and finance, implement projects, synthesize research questions, and produce in-depth reports. They will engage with industry stakeholders and represent the company at events to enhance visibility in the blockchain community.
We are looking for a Research and Content Strategy Lead to join our team.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee the research function, establishing best practices for primary and secondary research, and delivering compelling, defendable insights across integrated disciplines in both crypto and finance
- Scope and implement research projects, from the identification of information gaps through to the successful reporting of results and implications.
- Synthesize and prioritize research questions within the organization, working with strategy leadership, the executive team, and cross-functional product groups
- Develop and publish in-depth research reports that provide unique insights and actionable recommendations, identify emerging opportunities and risks, justifying your reasoning to potential clients
- Formulate original theses on blockchain trends and technologies, using these as the foundation for research, the ability to take a long-term view.
- Stay abreast of key developments in the blockchain space, with the ability to produce timely reports as needed.
- Engage with industry stakeholders, including investors, developers, and other professionals, to gather insights and validate research findings.
- Represent the company at industry events and on social media platforms, enhancing the company's visibility and reputation in the blockchain community.
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, financial engineering, statistics, or econometrics
- 5+ years of relevant experience (preferably Capital Markets/Sell-side Analyst)
- Profound understanding of equity markets on a global level. In addition, a deep understanding of structured products, options, fundamental analysis, financial modeling, asset allocation, and strategy research
- 1-2+ year of experience in the blockchain industry
- Ability to think strategically to see the big picture while working with ambiguity and uncertainty
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate results of the analysis in easy-to-understand content
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and drive results
- Detail-oriented, highly motivated, and organized
