Provides direct nursing care to renal patients undergoing haemodialysis, including assessment, care planning, vascular access needling, patient education, monitoring, documentation, safety management, and incident reporting. Maintains dialysis equipment, supplies, cleanliness, and quality assurance standards while collaborating with doctors and nursing staff. Performs duties according to Singapore Nursing Board regulations and organizational policies.

Job Description:
- Actively participate in all aspects of patient care by responsible for the assessment, planning, implementing and evaluation of nursing care.
- Communicate effectively with all team members or Nurse Manager regarding the patient’s treatment and care.
- Able to perform needling of A-V Fistula, A-V Graft, or through central venous catheter for initiating haemodialysis process.
- Follow doctor’s round and act in the accordance with the changes made for the patients.
- Educate patients as and when necessary.
- Responsible for the safely of the patient while on dialysis, reporting all accidents and incidents and completing all relevant documentation.
- Keeping track of all data concerning patient care accurately documented and reported by staff.
- Ensure safe, effective and economical use of apparatus and to obtain optimal operational level and assess the usage and cost of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
- Ensure that all supplies and equipment are available for use at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment writing the dialysis centre for patients, staff and public at all times.
- Participate in the development of any effective quality assurance program for the centre.
- Participate in nursing committee as assigned by Nurse Manager.
- Take responsibility assigned by Nurse Manager.
- Take an active role in participation of a smooth operation of the dialysis centre.
- Perform the duties delegated by Tzu Chi Foundation Management.
- Abide by the legal and statutory rules relating to nursing practice by Singapore Nursing Board.
- Maintain the Standard of Conduct in accordance with the Singapore Nursing Board Code of Conduct for Nurses.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess at least a Diploma in Nursing or any related field.
- Recognised Nursing qualification and registered with the Singapore Nursing Board.
- Certified with valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) + AED.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work in a team.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills.
- Candidates without any prior experience are welcome.
