ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Regional Technical Training Manager to project manager the design and implementation of a global comprehensive compliance training strategy that aligns with our McCain ambitious business goals. You will drive the roll-out of our new global technology platform and new ways of working across our manufacturing plants.
You'll be at the forefront of identifying training needs, designing impactful programs, and evaluating their effectiveness. You'll ensure our team stays at the top of their game in terms of employee performance, food safety, and health & safety. Your innovative approach will make compliance training more accessible and flexible in our 24-hour business. Plus, you'll lead our Manufacturing Academy apprenticeship programs, nurturing a culture of learning among Apprentices and Line Managers.

WHERE WILL I WORK?
We'd ideally like you to be based in our Scarborough plant in North Yorkshire. We opened this plant back in the swinging sixties, but it's not stuck in the past. It's one of the largest French fry factories in Europe and after a recent development, it's also one of the highest tech. It's also on the same campus as our GB Head Office, with plenty of opportunity to build relationships with other functions across the business.
You will be expected to travel across our other network of Manufacturing Plants. We have four in total: Whittlesey, Wombourne, and Hull. We would also be open to candidates based near Whittlesey too.
There also may be some occasional international travel required.

- • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and fulfil training requirements across McCain GB Region.
- • Lead a team of trainers and administrators to deliver top-notch training and ensure compliance.
- • Manage the regional training budget, allocating resources to minimise business risks.
- • Equip management teams with the tools and data needed to oversee team training effectively.
- • Analyse training data and generate reports to guide decision-making.
- • Maintain accessible and compliant training records, meeting legislative, policy, and auditing standards.
- • Spearhead the Manufacturing Academy apprenticeship program, supporting Apprentices and Line Managers.
- • Implement a new Learning Management System, championing a tech-first approach to compliance training.
- • Oversee Learning Management System processes and their development for business improvement.
- • Regularly monitor and evaluate training programs, reporting on effectiveness and ROI.
