What you will do

The Assistant Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving product sales to new and established national/key accounts to achieve sales objectives and market penetration. This job is eligible for sales incentives: 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Maintaining relationships with key customers and distributors. 

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate sales and marketing programs in assigned territory. 

  • Strengthen partnerships with key customers and distributors to achieve sales targets. 

  • Leverage shopper insights, merchandising opportunities, and promotional events. 

  • Support the development of effective distribution strategies and inventory management. 

  • Manage and guide distributor sales representatives to drive business results. 

  • Creates a tactical plan to achieve objectives through the sales and servicing of key accounts. 

  • Contacts and makes preplanned sales presentations to customers. 

  • Conduct regular visits to customer locations to gather market insights. 

  • Continue rapid business development through working closely with our key customers and distributor to achieve designated territory sales target distribution and merchandising objectives. 

  • Leverage on in-depth understanding of retailer dynamic, shopper/consumer knowledge, merchandising opportunities, retailer promotion/events opportunities with speed and excellence. 

  • Support the development of effective distribution and maintain healthy inventory system in the trade. 

  • Manage distributor’s sales rep in achieving business results 

 

 

 

What We Are Looking For  

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business-related course preferred). 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of FMCG sales experience in General Trade/ Wholesaler. Modern Trade experience will be advantageous. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Experience in distributor management. 

  • Commercial mindset with financial acumen and attention to detail. 

  • Highly motivated with the ability to create a positive and engaging team environment. 

  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites and stores.
