- Serves as an advisor on employee-related issues in strategic business planning.
- Provides counsel to senior executives.
- Provide a range of editorial and communications consult to coworkers and other business partners, both strategic and tactical, as necessary, including creation of communication plans.
- Creates fun, creative new ideas to enhance employee engagement.
- Channel Management Responsibility to innovate on our UL channels.

- Liaises with IT and Internal Comms to continually evolve most important channels.
- Develops measurement criteria and processes that effectively evaluate internal communications channels.
- Establishes and tracks metrics Identifies and analyzes business and audience needs to deliver messages via the most appropriate mix of media and channels.

- Experienced editor and writer, with multi-channel experience including long-form, script writing, social, PowerPoint and email.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a strategic APAC internal communications plan; audit communications and align engagement efforts with global strategy.
- Activate internal communications in APAC, including global initiatives and region-specific content.
- Partner with the APAC Region Lead to cascade strategic priorities and strengthen UL Solutions culture.
- Support APAC internal events (e.g., CEO/EC visits, global employee events).
- Create and distribute employee-focused content across APAC channels (e.g., ULife. In focus).
- Collaborate with HR to activate employee engagement initiatives (e.g., values refresh, EVP, census,, inclusion forums, and awards).
- Work with Business Communications on internal content (e.g., town halls, talking points, thought leadership).
- Partner with External Communications on APAC PR/Media needs (e.g., press releases, agency coordination, social media, UL.com).
- Promote internal content via social media in partnership with External Communications (e.g, LinkedIn, WeChat).
- Localize communications as needed.
- Build strong relationships across AAPAC and the wider organization to uncover and share compelling stories.
- Foster productive stakeholder relationships through clear communication and cross-functional collaboration.
QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of corporate communication experience, ideally in a global or regional role.
MINIMUM SKILLS PREFERRED.
- Native-level fluency in English and Mandarin (Oral and written).
- Excellent writing and editing skills (AP Style).
- Proven success in creating and executing employee content campaigns, backed by metrics.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Solid business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Skilled in facilitation, negotiation, and budget management.
- Experience engaging with senior leaders.
- Analytical mindset and editorial expertise.
