As a Regional Business Development Manager of Samsung’s Mobile eXperience (MX) B2B team, you will play a crucial role in transforming teaching and learning experiences, making a real difference in the lives of students and educators. This role will be based in Singapore and is responsible for the South East Asia and Oceania region.

Role and Responsibilities

Program Management

  • Oversee the deployment of Samsung’s technology solutions, ensuring seamless integration and effective utilisation in classrooms and schools
  • Develop and manage the professional development programs for educators, including training sessions, workshops, and certification programs to enhance their digital competencies
  • Develop and maintain customer success programs to ensure high levels of satisfaction and engagement with Samsung’s technology solutions
  • Compile and share success stories and best practices to promote wider adoption and recognition of Samsung’s educational solutions

Regional Sales Support

  • Provide ongoing support and consultancy to country teams, helping them navigate and maximise the benefits of the implemented technology within classrooms and schools
  • Support country teams in sales efforts, including identifying opportunities, crafting proposals, pitching to stakeholders and support the bid process
  • Be the voice of Samsung within the Education sector by providing thought leadership and key value proposition on Samsung’s solution & services (Samsung Knox and extensive portfolio) and crafting compelling high impact, high quality presentations to decision makers
  • Provide regular and timely update and progress reports for management on a regular basis

Strategic Planning & Implementation

  • Drive and execute Samsung’s regional education strategy and initiatives in alignment with corporate goals and local market needs
  • Collaborate with RHQ and country teams to create and implement technology adoption roadmaps for educational institutions
  • Source, secure, and develop strategic relationships with Edu Tech Channel partners to expand ecosystem and addressable market opportunities
  • Track and assess the impact of technology integration on teaching and learning outcomes, gathering feedback and making data-driven adjustments to improve effectiveness

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with key stakeholders, including school boards, principals, academic heads, CIOs, teachers, and external organisations to foster partnerships and drive program success
  • Organise and lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, and learning journeys to promote Samsung’s educational technology solutions
  • Collaborate, coach, enable and support local sales organisation and lead engagement with selected regional business opportunities
  • Work in lock-step with HQ and regional teams by leveraging global ecosystem and best practices to strengthen B2B capabilities in the region

Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 10 years proven experience in educational program management, business development, market development, strategic partnerships, solution consulting or product management, preferably at a regional level
  • Strong understanding of educational technology trends and integration models (e.g., SAMR) across teaching and learning in educational institutions
  • Experience in Edu Channel Sales/Business Development with Edu Tech partners, teachers/trainers and engaging with K-12, Universities or Ministries of Education, or a related field
  • Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are a must
  • Comfortable in interacting with C-Suite and top-level management
  • Ability to work effectively across internal and external organisations
  • Executive level presence and world class communications skills with verbal and written skills in English
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate key value proposition w possible and unique selling proposition to cross-functional audiences
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, assertive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
