Your job

In our line of work, we face mathematical and data-related challenges on a daily basis, that need to be solved with code that runs 24/7 in a highly demanding environment. As a Quant Developer you are developing software and models that are crucial components in our automated trading strategies. You spend a lot of time writing code and creating systems that can handle complex data and complex processes. The work entails a combination of technical and practical aspects to find the best solutions for our trading strategies. To do so, you ask the right questions, analyse the projects, do your research, backtest and implement solutions.

Who are you

  • You have a Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science or equivalent, with exceptional grades*

  • Highly proficient in various programming languages

  • Comfortable in a Linux/Unix environment (commandline, SSH, etc.)

  • Experience with version control (git)

  • Accurate coder who works with strict coding practices to minimize the risk of errors

  • Teamplayer, easy and clear communication

  • Pro-active, flexible and stress-resistant

*Minimum requirements are: (i) attending or having graduated from a top university, typically NUS, NTU, SMU, or a similarly selective university globally / in Asia-Pacific, and (ii) top-tier grades, such as SG: GPA ≥4.5/5.0 or ≥3.6/4.0; UK: ≥70%; US/Canada: GPA ≥3.7/4.0; HK: First Class or GPA ≥3.6/4.0; CN: ≥85/100; IN: ≥8.5/10; AU/NZ: H1 / High Distinction, or equivalent. We value a well-rounded approach to talent assessment. While we have baseline expectations for academic performance, we understand that grades alone do not fully capture a candidate's potential or abilities. Therefore, we also welcome applicants who demonstrate exceptional skills, experience, or achievements in other areas that complement or compensate for slightly lower academic grades.
