Job Description

You will be reporting to a Manager in Quality. You will be based in Singapore, Corporation place.
Operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of our product. Work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances.
Perform technical functions related to the support of development engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electronics and Electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry , prototype models or specialized test equipment. Applications may include analog, digital or video type circuits and logic systems.
Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform routine testing, checkout, troubleshooting, prototype building, environmental testing, and simple developmental engineering tasks. Performs routine operational tests and fault isolation on development systems and equipment to ensure conformance with design specifications. Diagnoses and isolates malfunctions down to component level. Conduct defined engineering tests and collect data as assigned. Utilizes routine development or diagnostic equipment including oscilloscope, VOM, DVM, signal generators and similar test apparatus.
Product Failure Analysis & Reliability Test
- Passionate with Technical Hands-On activity (Software & Hardware)
- Read circuit schematics and layouts, and able to apply failure analysis procedures to perform electrical circuit troubleshooting and identify the failure location and the cause
- You have experience to utilise tests methodology in Industry (SEM, EDX, etc)
- Develop product test setups for Laboratory reliability testing
- Compile and create comprehensive Product Analysis Report in a timely manner
- Responsible for initiating necessary activities for corrective action and closely working with various stakeholders to drive resolution
- Develop reliability test plan, test setup and execute testing such as HALT or ORT test (in internal or external laboratory)
- Design and create ladder programming for use in reliability test
- Responsible of procuring required equipment, component and associated auxiliary materials for use in reliability test in a timely manner.
- Responsible for booking of external laboratory equipment to support testing schedule
- Responsible in generating test report upon completion of testing and communicating with required stakeholders on anomaly observations.
What you essentially have:
- Open to Diploma/Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering with prior applicable experience
- Prefer candidates with experience in an Electronic assembly environment
- Candidate can work with engineering, manufacturing, service, and suppliers across several issues and globally
- Understanding of Electronic Manufacturing, Assembly and Test processes
- You will read and interpret schematic diagrams and technical manuals
- 1+ years of experience with semiconductor device knowledge, IC assembly / package and test process
- You will use necessary equipment to perform failure analysis
- Must be competent on relevant test procedures
- You will work with team members and external partners
- Basic knowledge on working with SAP, JIRA environment and ladder programming
