UnspecifiedRoles and Responsibilities- Manage end to end effort for the development and deployment of new production processes and equipment for quality responsibilities.
- Develop the inspection planning, CMM and other inspection gaging requirements.
- Validation of CMM/auto-inspection programs for optimization.
- Identify and design inspection methods for production processes with the goal of process capability and operator feedback
- Maintain and control process documentation of production processes.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineers to develop gauging and systems to support product conformance.
- Troubleshooting and continuous improvement of inspection processes.
- Develop paperless shopfloor documentation systems.
- Assist production in the prove-out and debugging of new processes.
- Follow prescribed work rules and safety standards.
- Take ownership of project goals and objectives to ensure project success
- Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Material)
- At least 5 years’ of relevant working experience.
- Knowledge of CMM, auto-inspection method, inspection tooling and metrology technology and ANSI Y14.5 blueprint reading
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
- Develop and manage a project from concept to implementation
- Analyze information and solve problems quickly
- Experience with metrology standards and equipment
- Demonstrate high level of attention to details
