Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and manage strategies to achieve quality compliance goals, ensuring alignment with industry standards such as AS9100, AS13100, and AS9145.
- Develop and oversee compliance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for various areas of responsibility, ensuring continuous monitoring and improvement.
- Lead the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities identified during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified.
- Develop and conduct training on quality systems, auditing procedures, and application of procedures. Update quality documentation and communicate lessons learned from quality concerns.
- Conduct regular internal and process audits of the QMS, holding monthly audit performance meetings with business leaders.
- Support global audit community initiatives.
- Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies.
- Manage the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities raised during audits are effectively corrected and independently verified.
- Update quality documentation and communicate to carry forward lessons learned from quality concerns.
Desired Qualifications
- Educational Background: Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Aerospace Quality and Auditing, with a minimum of 3 years as a QMS Auditor or Lead Auditor.
- Certifications: Familiarity with AS9100, AS13100, and AS9145 standards. NADCAP Special Process Auditing experience (e.g., Heat Treatment, Non-Destructive Testing, Chemical Processing, Welding, Shot Peening) is advantageous.
- Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities, and an assertive yet tactful approach.
