Objective:
In this internship position, the intern will perform all tasks associated with the QC Analytical Lab operations which includes chemistry analysis, equipment calibration/maintenance, records review and other tasks as assigned.
The responsibilities of the QC Analytical Intern are as below:
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis of in-process and drug substance samples.
- Ensure tests assigned are performed in a timely manner in compliance to Standard Operating procedures (SOP)
- Ensure proper, safe handling and disposal of waste; ensuring a safe working environment.
- Provide additional required support for document archival activities, project and inspection readiness preparation.
- Assist QC Supervisor to support internal and external compliance audits
- Perform equipment calibration and maintenance when required.
- Perform review/approval of QC records/ log books.
- Revise SOPs and forms.
General Responsibilities:
- Carry out 5S and ensures good housekeeping of Analytical Lab area.
- Support and participates in Operation Excellence initiatives (such as GEMBA and GMP walk).
- Responsibility to adhere to any applicable EHS requirements.
- Commitment to a fair and respectful relationship to others and behavior in accordance with Takeda's Code of Conduct.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Education Background in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or equivalent
- Keen interest to work in a biopharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office
- Team Player
- Independent with good initiatives and learning attitude
- Organization and planning skills
- Analytical and Logical thinking skills
- Ability to work and collaborate within the team
