The QA Engineer will develop and execute test plans, enhance product quality, and automate testing while collaborating closely with teams and clients.
We are looking for a QA Engineer who takes pride in quality and improvement, is proactive, loves their job, and takes initiative in helping not only test though also work with the team on improving product features.
Locations: Ho Chi Minh, Da Nang, Hanoi
What You’ll Be Doing
- Understanding product requirements and functionalities in order to come up with a test plan that covers all cases.
- Working closely with project managers, designers, and developers to improve the output quality and complete development sprints in a timely manner.
- Listening to clients, understanding their problems, and communicating with the team to resolve. We believe it is everyone’s responsibility to maintain an effective communication channel with the clients and keep them happy.
- Scheduling test plans to make sure products are properly verified before any important release or launch.
- Create automation tests for some of the functionality in the products you test.
- Following agile methodologies and agile processes to ensure the team is able to move at a rapid pace without any roadblocks.
Requirements
Must Have
- Require strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Require a minimum of 3 years of experience in the QA/QC field.
- Require a deep knowledge of agile and scrum development processes.
- Experience with at least one programming language: Java, Javascript, Ruby, Python
- Advanced knowledge of testing methodologies, testing processes, quality models, standards.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience in automation tests using Selenium or a similar test framework.
- Good knowledge of Load/Performance testing, API testing, SQL database.
- Familiar with Cucumber and BDD
- Familiar with writing user stories and detailing acceptance criteria.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as an agency or service company is a plus.
- Familiar with Git, Github / GitLab / BitBucket, and Pull Requests.
