The QA Automation Test Lead will manage QA activities for web applications, lead a team of QA engineers, design and maintain automation frameworks, perform manual and API testing, conduct performance analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Lead to oversee and manage the QA activities for our web applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automation testing, with strong skills in frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright. The role requires a solid background in Java, API testing, and performance testing, along with experience in leading QA teams and delivering high-quality software products.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Perform manual testing for areas not covered by automation and ensure test coverage across the application.
- Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and cases for web applications, ensuring functionality, usability, and performance meet requirements.
- Implement and manage API testing frameworks, ensuring robust validation of backend services.
- Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify potential bottlenecks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to identify and resolve issues.
- Monitor and report on QA metrics, such as defect density and open defect counts, to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to improve the QA process
Technical Expertise:
- Min 5 Years of experience in Automation Testing
- Proficiency in Java for automation scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium for automation testing.
- Strong understanding of API testing and tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
- Experience in testing web applications on multiple browsers and devices.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
