As a PruApprentice, you will embark on a unique startup incubation journey within the financial services industry. This role offers a blend of experiential learning in both agency and corporate settings, providing a comprehensive understanding of the industry's operations beyond product sales. You will be paired with successful agency leaders for mentorship and receive extensive training in financial products, sales techniques, personal branding, and business management. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to attend networking events, connecting with senior corporate leaders, industry experts, and successful financial consultants. 

What you can look forward to: 

  • Participating in structured training and development programmes, including obtaining financial certifications (e.g. CMFAS) to enhance product knowledge and soft skills. 

  • Working closely with senior financial consultants and mentors to understand industry best practices, shadow customer meetings, and develop professional financial advisory skills. 

  • Exposure to real-world financial consulting scenarios and customer interactions. 

  • Staying updated on financial products, market trends, and regulations to offer informed advice to customers and tailoring solutions to meet their needs. 

  • Supporting business growth by identifying and reaching out to potential customers, fostering strong relationships, and conducting financial needs assessments 

  • Ensuring adherence to industry regulations, internal policies, and company compliance standards.  

Who we are looking for: 

  • Degree or minimum full certificate in GCE 'A' level, International Baccalaureate Diploma qualification, Diploma awarded by a Polytechnic in Singapore or equivalent. 

  • Less than two years of work experience with no prior experience in financial consulting. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail. 

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Customer-centric with a passion for helping others achieve their financial goals.
