Shall possess approved tertiary or equivalent qualification and with at least three (3) years relevant post graduate experience or

five (5) years for diploma holders in project management/facilities management/engineering or equivalent

To lead and manage Facilities Management (FM) projects, ensuring that all maintenance, upgrading, A&A, and improvement works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with client requirements, contractual obligations, and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Plan, manage, and oversee FM-related projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.
  • Ensure projects are completed within approved budgets and timelines.

Contract & Vendor Management

  • Manage contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Review contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Verify work completion and approve progress claims where applicable.

Facilities Operations

  • Coordinate with operations teams to minimize disruptions to building occupants during project execution.
  • Ensure maintenance, replacement, and upgrading works are carried out according to specifications.
  • Support the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Attend project meetings and provide regular updates on project status.
  • Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.

Financial Management

  • Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and expenditure forecasts.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure cost control measures are implemented.
  • Evaluate quotations and recommend procurement decisions.

Compliance, Safety & Quality

  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare project reports, progress updates, and management presentations.
  • Maintain project documentation, records, drawings, and handover documents.
  • Ensure proper project closure and post-project review.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, or Project Management.
  • Experience managing FM projects, A&A works, asset replacement programs, or maintenance contracts.
  • Experience in government, commercial, industrial, healthcare, or institutional facilities will be an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong project planning and execution capabilities.
  • Good knowledge of FM operations, M&E systems, and building services.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Preferred Certifications
  • PMP, Prince2, FSM, or equivalent project management certification.
  • WSQ/WSH certifications will be an added advantage.
Reporting To
  • Senior Facilities Manager / Operations Manager / Account Director (depending on organizational structure).
