About The Role:
The incumbent is responsible for supporting the Group Projects team in the preparation and delivery of capital projects. Interact fully with other members of the Global Switch team, Customers, Consultants and Contractors to deliver designated project works on time and within budget, all in accordance with the policies, systems, processes, and procedures that constitute the project delivery process and the maintenance of Global Switch Data Centre’s.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the use of ‘project management systems, procedures and processes to ensure that external consultants and the internal Global Switch team interface in the successful completion of the project
- Ensuring Global Switch policies and procedures are fully followed in respect of change management, site access and timely availability of documentation for risk assessments of the planned works
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant local permitting and government/local authority regulations
- Maintaining a strong focus on contractor management and performance, establishing, and managing relationships with key stakeholders
- Maintain high standards of cost, quality and programme control throughout the design and construction phases of multiple projects
- Preparation of project budgets, including documents for tender and negotiations with Contractors, Sub- Contractors, Suppliers, Design Consultants and Customers for best value
- Preparation of RFAs for each project, including use of the Gateway processes to ensure adequate and timely involvement of internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in monitoring design and construction programme, cost control and project information systems to ensure successful project delivery
- Preparation of reports based on agreed standard formats that demonstrate and provide accurate information to the Senior Management team regarding projects currently in execution
