As part of the CAO, Global Program Management is responsible for the highest priority initiatives across AIGs Operations and Technology landscape. This role is critical to the efficient and effective projects/initiatives execution within a controlled environment.
Ideally you will have
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, operations management, processing engineering, or quality engineering, or equivalent consulting experience
- Previous exposure to international business environment.
- Proven experience working with stakeholders with demonstrated ability to influence, coach and counsel
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams and to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems.
- Excellent Organisational and Time Management skills
- Possesses problem solving, prioritization, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to make recommendations to all levels of the organization.
- Insurance industry experience and knowledge of industry practices, processes, and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification preferred
- Business or management qualification or experience is beneficial
- Formal qualifications in areas such as process management, project management is desirable
The preferred candidate will execute project based assignments in line with the following objectives:
- Develop and execute project plans relating to evaluation, planning and implementation phases in accordance with AIG PMO framework and governance.
- Develop and gain approval of project budgets approved budgets, review expenses and track these against approved budgets. Verify and finalise cost benefit analysis of transformational process to ensure maximum cost efficiencies are achieved.
- Organise and manage Steering Committee and project working group presentations. Present business cases and progress reports to Investment Decision Board as requested.
- Develop and gain approval of business case and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
- Ensure maximum value is extracted from transformation programs whilst having minimum impact on customers.
- Anticipate risk areas relating to people and customer issues and implement plans to manage the change process with minimal impact to the business and positive outcomes for the stakeholders involved.
- Be a change champion for driving the strategic direction and related initiatives.
