We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale ERP and Finance Transformation initiatives for banking clients. The successful candidate will have a proven track record delivering complex ERP implementations involving core finance and procurement functions, particularly within highly regulated financial services environments.
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of project or program management experience, with significant exposure to ERP implementation programs and finance transformation in the Banking Industry
- Proven experience delivering ERP implementations within banking or financial services environments.
- Strong understanding of finance processes and ERP-enabled finance transformation.
- Demonstrated experience delivering multiple ERP implementation projects covering – GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Lease accounting, Procurement
- Experience delivering ERP transformations involving migration from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA, SAP Rise or other ERP systems
- Strong track record managing large-scale, complex or multi-workstream transformation projects.
- Strong vendor management experience, including oversight of system integrators and third-party implementation partners.
- Strong experience leading RFP/RFI exercises, vendor evaluations, software selection and contract negotiations
- Ability to engage senior executives and translate complex project topics into clear business impact and decision points.
- Understands the basics of AI and emerging technologies, with the ability and enthusiasm to adopt AI tools and solutions in day-to-day work.
Job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ERP implementation programs for banking and financial services clients, from initiation through design, build, testing, deployment and stabilization.
- Lead ERP implementation activities across Finance modules, particularly AP, AR, GL and Fixed Assets.
- Manage ERP modernization initiatives involving migration from legacy ERP platforms to cloud-based ERP solutions.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams to translate business requirements into ERP-enabled processes and solutions.
- Oversee requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration alignment, integration planning, data migration, testing and cutover activities.
- Manage relationships with ERP vendors, system integrators, implementation partners and third-party providers.
- Lead or support RFI/RFP activities, including requirements definition, vendor evaluation criteria, proposal reviews, scoring, selection recommendations and executive readouts.
- Engage senior executives, program sponsors, Finance leaders, Technology teams and business users throughout the project lifecycle.
