The Team:

The CX Program Excellence team at S&P Global Commodity Insight delivers high-impact, cross-functional projects that transform customer experience and drive business growth. We partner across technology, product, and commercial teams to execute initiatives that enhance customer journeys, streamline operations, and support strategic objectives.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a project leader who operates with a strategic, enterprise-wide mindset—owning outcomes, shaping roadmaps, and connecting technology execution to measurable business impact. You will steer complex, multi-workstream programs, influence senior stakeholders, and drive change across global teams.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Strategic Program Ownership: Define clear business outcomes, craft multi‑phase delivery strategies and OKRs, and maintain a value‑based roadmap aligned to company priorities.
  • Business Case & Financials: Build and manage business cases (benefits, costs, ROI), track value realization, and optimize investments through data‑driven trade‑offs.
  • Executive Influence & Governance: Facilitate decision forums, present succinct progress and risks to leadership, and run fit‑for‑purpose governance (steering, RAID, dependency management).
  • Outcome‑Driven Delivery: Lead cross-functional execution across product, engineering, data, and commercial teams; remove blockers and ensure on‑time, high‑quality releases.
  • Customer & Commercial Lens: Translate client insights and market needs into requirements; quantify impact on retention, adoption, NPS, and revenue acceleration.
  • Change Management & Enablement: Partner with change leads to drive adoption—communications, training, readiness, and success metrics—across global stakeholders.
  • Data & Platform Fluency: Connect platform capabilities (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, Gainsight, Marketo/Cvent, Tableau/Power BI) to business processes and customer journeys; define integration and data quality needs with architecture teams.
  • Risk & Compliance Readiness: Anticipate regulatory/compliance implications; design controls and operating procedures that scale.
  • Continuous Improvement: Establish feedback loops and LEAN practices to improve throughput, quality, and stakeholder experience.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: 4+ years leading complex, cross‑functional technology‑enabled projects with enterprise‑level stakeholders and global delivery.
  • Business Acumen: Proven ability to quantify outcomes, manage budgets, and make portfolio trade‑offs grounded in ROI and customer impact.
  • Technology & Data: Practical knowledge of enterprise platforms (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Gainsight), marketing/event tech (Marketo, Cvent), and analytics (Tableau, Power BI); comfort engaging with architecture and data teams.
  • Ways of Working: Strong Agile/LEAN execution; adept at shaping work plans, managing dependencies, and instituting pragmatic governance.
  • Leadership & Communication: Executive‑ready storytelling, stakeholder influence, and facilitation across product, tech, and commercial functions.

Key Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership and collaboration abilities, fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to challenging the status quo.
  • Adaptability and resilience in managing change within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to drive results and build productive relationships across teams.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in PMP and/or Change Management.
  • Experience delivering regulatory/compliance or large‑scale transformation initiatives.
  • Success leading distributed/global teams and virtual delivery models.
