Project Information Manager

To function as Project Information Manager / Digital Engineering Lead for the project and has overall Responsibility for the management, execution and successful conclusion of all IM activities in the Project throughout the life cycle of the project 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the IM project budget creation, implementation and tracking throughout the project life cycle.

  • Deliver services on time and within the budgeted hours.

  • Manage Project IM / Digital Engineering team comprises of Project IM/ Data Coordinators, 3D CAD Team and Document Management Team

  • Responsible for the collection and management of information from one or more sources and the distribution of that information to one or more audiences

  • Accountable for the performance and results of multiple related disciplines or sub-groups within a function

  • Manage the identification, collection and handover of Project document and data deliverables.

  • Manage the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to managers or professional staff

  • Estimation of Manhours and time for IM Scope of Work comprising IM, Data, 3D CAD and Document Management

  • Participate in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for Project Execution Plan, work processes and procedures,

  • Develop Project Information Management / Digital Engineering Execution Plan, Data Management Plan, Information / Data Handover plan and likewise

  • Hands on experience on AVEVA Engineering and Data integration between various 2D tools and 3D tools

  • Perform Data Validation checks and generate Data Integrity reports and Data Consistency reports across all the tools and address to disciplines for their correction and resolution for Data Integrity and Data Reports

  • Due to tight project schedule and parallel execution, candidate shall be proficient in the following:

1. Tagging and data management functions which includes Engineering and Supplier Tag and Data Management and implementation of Engineering software systems and tools, Integrated Engineering Database Management systems, Share Point Portal and reporting tools (like Power Bi, etc.) 
2. Awareness & exposure on AVEVA Tools (precisely AVEVA Engineering and HEXAGON's Smart Plant Tools such as SPF 
3. Integrated Engineering Databases (EDMS) such as Bentleys LCS, AVEVA Engineering and likewise  
4. Document Management Systems (Documentum and IPMS) with knowledge and experience on both Engineering and Vendor Document / Data workflow and processes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

  • Minimum 18 - 20 years of information management experience, around 10 years of which in Oil & Gas offshore/onshore projects as Project Information Manager

  • Awareness & exposure on AVEVA Tools such as AVEVA - PDMS / E 3D, AVEVA Diagram (P&ID), Electrical, Instrumentation, AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA Net

  • Knowledge and proficiency on Engineering Systems and Tools and its work processes, Awareness and knowledge on Digital Engineering and its tools. Good understanding on Engineering Workflow and key deliverables

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Strong facilitation, analytical, and design skills

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritize and organize support activities and manage multiple tasks

  • Experience with Oracle DB and Visual Basic DB is an added advantage
