Oversee and execute on-site construction activities, coordinate contractors/vendors/stakeholders, perform QAQC inspections, prepare schedules/reports/technical submissions, manage equipment packages, and lead site meetings during construction, testing, and commissioning.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Conducting site construction daily work for project and liaising with the consultants, vendors, contractors and customers.
- Preparing Presentation slide, MSRA, micro schedule, look ahead plan, daily/monthly report during construction, testing & commissioning stage
- Overseeing/ manage/ monitor/ control/ reporting site activities of sub contractors and coordinating on site level with other partners’ sub contractors.
- Conduct construction, QAQC inspection/ testing for the area of responsibility
- Attending all relevant WSH activities such as Safety site walk, TBM, audit, safety stand down etc.
- Interact with project technical supports for relevant site work and liaise with other engineer during project execution and commissioning work.
- Liaison with local authorities, stakeholders related to assign construction activities responsibility
- Managing equipment package (when needed) and ensuring technical compliance from suppliers and vendors.
- Coordinate on site logistic, interfacing with cranes, machineries.
- Preparing technical submissions of proposal (when needed) including drawing, layout and interacting point requirement.
- Independently chairing / leading the sub contractor meeting and attending any stakeholders, client, partners, authorities meeting whenever is required.
- Any other instruction or direction by management
- Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Fresh Grad or minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in design, or construction
- Familiar with process engineering, mechanical system and their standards in related discipline is an advantage.
- Related working experience in thermal power plant, process industries and mechanical handling equipment is an advantage.
- Having correct working attitude and will be full time working on site.
- Experience in BIM and hands-on AutoCad operating will be preferred
- Knowledge in engineering, planning and design software will be an advantage
- Willing to work in Tuas.
- Will be required to work on shifts, and working on Sat and Sunday with leave in-lieu arrangement.
- Possession of Singapore Driving License is required. Else, willing to convert the current license to Singapore Driving License.
