POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Junior/Project Manager, you will manage the deployment of new network builds at our customers offices and data centers across the APAC region, ensuring the successful execution and management of our services for our customer. The Junior/Project Manager will be working alongside the customers Technical Project Management team supporting the APAC region.   

The scope will include the planning, design, construction, and handover phases associated with office network builds, data center network builds, site de-commissions and network retrofit / refresh projects. A successful candidate will help develop and understand the requirements from internal customers and create solutions to improve productivity and services.  


WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

  • Create/maintain all tasks related to the creation & installation of the site infrastructure (based on the latest site deployment guide)  
  • Attend weekly project meetings.  
  • Track critical dates & report possible impacts to the project timeline.  
  • Monitor delivery status for equipment shipments.  
  • Provide reports to Meta and other necessary stakeholders where requested.  
  • Create and maintain project checklists, tools, and deployment templates.  
  • Create and maintain vendor resource Deployment Engineering planning for the project.  
  • Track and report on circuit delivery updates from carriers/circuit procurement teams.  
  • Initiate, plan, execute and control all Enterprise Infrastructure Service deployments, with focus on quality and specific timeline constraints (new office deployments, office retrofits, data center builds, migrations, POP builds and wireless network deployments)  
  • Develop and manage end to end project plans 
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams throughout the customer environment to ensure successful and on time delivery of projects 
  • Assist with tracking and allocate engineering resources 
  • Assist with budget management 
  • Work with engineering teams to create Bills of Materials
  • Collaborate with the sourcing and procurement team to ensure timely ordering and delivery of all hardware and software requirements 
  • Track hardware and software orders from inception to deployment 
  • Ensure engineering & deployment activities are tracked to meet project timelines 
  • Provide project status reports to TPM’s and management 

  

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: 

  • Must have the ability to speak and collaborate in Chinese (Mandarin) – This is a Non-Negotiable Requirement
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in a similar role 
  • Highly motivated, innovative individual with a proven track record of managing concurrent projects 
  • Proven experience coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders  
  • Able to assess & mitigate risk, manage change, and work in an extremely fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to quickly develop strong working relationships with stakeholders 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in addition to the ability to deal effectively with ambiguity 
  • Knowledge of project management software a plus 
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint 
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills 
  • Organizational and time management experience 
  • Networking experience such as CCNA / CCNP would be a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant area 
  • PMP Certification a plus
